  1. Muse Code joins the agent roster

    Chief now manages Muse Code (muse), Meta's coding agent for the terminal, alongside Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Kimi and the rest of your roster.

    • Your sign-in, your machine. The Chief relay runs Meta's official muse binary on your computer under the account you signed in with using muse login. Chief never reads your Muse credential files.
    • Pick your model. Chief uses Muse Wonder 1.0 by default; switch to Muse Spark 1.3 in Settings.
    • Usage windows on the usage card. See how much of your 5-hour and weekly Muse allowance is left. Auto mode pauses when either window is used up.
    • Onboarding card. Onboarding checks whether Muse Code is installed and signed in, and walks you through setup.
